Terry Graves is an American painter whose artistic journey beganearly in life: he completed his first oil painting inthird grade, indicating a passion for painting from avery young age. He pursued formal training in thevisual arts, studying at New Mexico Junior Collegeand then Texas Tech University, where he earned aBachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with an emphasis inpainting. Terry has been living and working in Arizona, and hasbeen teaching art for over 35 years. He worksprimarily in oils, but also loves watercolors. He hasexpressed that his early love of oils andwatercolors drove much of his work.
