Antonio Galvan began his artistic journey after arriving in New York city at the age of 19, His career took shape under the mentorship of renowned artist Manolo Valdés, with whom he worked closely for 24 years. During this time, Galvan mastered a wide range of techniques including bronze casting, glasswork, ceramic, resins, wood sculpture, and painting. Galvan’s work explores the interaction between the physical and the ethereal. By transforming materials as diverse as solid bronze and delicate glass, his creations invite deep reflection on the connection between humanity, space, and time His art has gained international recognition with notable appearances such as his exhibition at Art Basel 2019 and his inclusion in the book Manolo Valdés in Glass. Today Galvan continues to expand his creative boundaries ,experimenting with new techniques and striving for artistic excellence in each of his works.
