My art career began at UC DAAP in graphic design. This continues to inform my art to date. Composition is ingredient one. After enrolling in whatever art classes I could post career I began oil painting about 25 years ago and exhibiting soon after. More recently, I’ve picked up pastels. I enjoy the flexibility that comes with being able to fluidly switch between oils and pastels, depending on the inspiration.I am an avid traveler and I find great joy in gardening, both of which have influenced my art immensely. When I am not out and about finding inspiration for my next piece, you can find me in my studio at Pendleton Art Center.
