I make paintings. I make photographs and I design chairs. Most of my work swirls around lifestyle and leisure and food. Paintings… usually loose representational work that’s a collection of rough brush strokes. Lots of restaurant scenes and table scapes of the atypical. Cake and cigarette ash trays tend to appear in many. Photographs- I travel a lot collecting places and things that are curious. And I make photographs of them. I’ve developed my own proprietary method of suspending ink and silver together and supported within a gel. The images translucent and reflective with a broken in and non perfect look and are made on wood cradled panels I build in my studio. These are made at any scale. Custom work can be offered to clients for unusual and/or large areas.
