Born from an idea I had while sleeping, it’s a moment of inspiration that continues to guide me.I handcraft each piece from natural elements like copper, silver, gold, brass, and precious stones, always with a focus on the interplay of shapes, color, light, and texture. My process is a dialogue of listening and exploring how the materials interact.I am particularly fascinated by the transformative power of pressure and heat. When subjected to these forces, metals and stones reveal their natural beauty, exuding rich colors and distinctive imperfections. Each crack and hue amplifies its intrigue and aesthetic, telling a story of its journey; this is a powerful depiction of our own lives.My journey as an artist has taken me from creating my first pair of earrings to designing collections for galleries and shows from Detroit to Geneva, Switzerland, and now, my current home of Oklahoma City. Each step has been a moment of transformation, much like the materials I work with.My aim is to create art that not only adorns the body, but is infused with spirit, accentuating the unique and expressive beauty of the person wearing it.
