Shelley Aucoin Winters earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Louisiana State University in 2006. She majored in Creative Writing and minored in French. In 2009, she also obtained a Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma in Civil Law from LSU.A practicing attorney in New Orleans, her passion for art and color developed at a young age as she was taught and influenced by her mother, Rita, who studied under Henry Hensche at the Cape School of Art in Provincetown, Massachusetts.Shelley paints primarily with acrylics, watercolor, inks, and pastels. Many of her works are mixed media with an emphasis on color and texture.
