Rebekah Griffith lives and paints in the deep country of eastern Colorado, where the open plains stretch for miles and the wild calls of deer, coyotes, and birds fill the air. After moving from the Denver area, she and her husband built their home surrounded by the beauty and untamed rhythm of the West. That landscape has become both her muse and her constant companion. With her camera always nearby, Griffith gathers inspiration from long drives down dirt roads, where every turn offers a new story. Her photographs serve as starting points, but her paintings evolve far beyond them. Working expressively in oil, often with palette knives, she layers texture and color to capture the strength, wonder, and freedom of the raw western landscape. Each piece is a reflection of the place she calls home and the spirit of the land that continues to shape her work.
