Theresa Grillo Laird grew up in New Jersey near the Palisades of the Hudson River and began painting as a child, choosing early on to make art her life’s work. Her training includes study with Scott Christensen and workshops with David Dibble, Albert Handell, Michelle Held, and Morgan Samuel Price. Now based in western Arkansas, Laird paints both outdoors and in her studio. Guided by a deep spiritual connection and a belief in the unity of all things, she creates oil paintings that reflect her bond with the natural world. Her work has been featured in “Fine Art Connoisseur” and “Plein Air Magazine,” exhibited with the Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionist Society, and is part of the Permanent Art Collection of the Federal Reserve Board Bank in New Orleans.
