Mimi Hails Joiner graduated from the University of Georgia in 1981. Following a brief, yet boring, career in corporate America, she began illustrating for companies such as Little Debbie and Miracle Grow. This led to her own graphite illustrations and oil portraitures. Now, her work is devoted to oil and acrylic abstracts as well as portraits in oil and pencil.
