Joseph Peragine’s painting, sculpture and animation have been presented in galleries, contemporary art spaces and museums throughout the USA and internationally. He recently exhibited a body of work at Marcia Wood Gallery Midtown titled Love Me Till My Heart Stops. Inspired by his interest in natural history dioramas and nature documentaries, Love Me Till My Heart Stops explores the perverse connection between exploration and exploitation when encountering the natural world. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, Peragine lives with his family in Atlanta and is an Associate Professor in the Drawing Painting and Printmaking at Georgia State University.
