Raised in Sacramento, Ann was exposed to art at a young age in a neighborhood among artists, both amateur and professional. The visual arts have been her lifelong focus with dual interest in art-making and graphic design. At Oberlin College, she earned a BA in drawing and painting. After college, she moved to New York City and worked at the Museum of Modern Art while pursuing her art practice and further study in graphic design, resulting in a long career in graphic design. In 2017 she returned her focus back to art-making, reigniting a creative drive that was so alive during her twenties. Her work has been juried into national and international group shows. Travis Hall Fine Art and the Carmel Art Association represent her. To see and read more visit www.annartz.com
