Katherine Kousi(b. New York City; based in Charleston, South Carolina) Katherine Kousi is a multidisciplinary artist whose work merges painting, sculpture, and design. Raised in New York, she later moved to California, where she spent nearly two decades in Malibu raising her three sons before recently relocating to Charleston. Her practice includes luminous wall sculptures and resin-coated functional furniture—works that blur the line between fine art and the everyday object. Kousi is represented by Monica Graham Fine Art in Carmel and works on a commission basis with Marianne Boesky Gallery in New York and Aspen. In 2017, she was nominated at Art Miami as one of fourteen emerging female artists to watch, and her work has been exhibited widely in galleries and private collections around the world.
