With a Diploma in Fine Arts, Alison Agius has devoted her artistic journey to life figure drawing, capturing fleeting gestures, moods, and the essence of her subjects. Beyond likeness, her portraits reveal a deep emotional connection, portraying individuality and character. As co-founder and leader of BILD (Bred In Life Drawing), Alison coordinates weekly sessions for fellow artists and mentors emerging local talent—an experience she finds mutually enriching. She is also the driving force behind International Workshops, aimed at uniting like-minded artists, fostering collaboration, and nurturing artistic growth within the local community. These workshops, held across Europe and beyond, bring world-class guidance to Malta, eliminating the need for artists to travel abroad. Alison credits her teachers, Mr. Portelli and Mr. Sciberras, at the School of Art (1998), for her foundation, and values the diverse perspectives foreign tutors contribute. Her works feature in museums, castles, and private collections worldwide.
