Yang Tang is a Chinese visual artist based in Malta. Her practice centres on painting and extends to printmaking, photography, and text. She works with quiet attention, without fixed styles or subjects. Through landscapes and ordinary objects, she observes the shifting relation between self and world. Each work arises from a particular moment, expressed through slowness and stillness. For her, art is not a career or a statement, but a way of living — a means to stay balanced, to reflect, and to remain present. In continuous acts of looking and questioning, she at times encounters a trace of an answer to life.
