Andy Llanes Bulto, born in 1987 in Artemisa, province of Havana, Cuba. He graduated from the San Antonio de los Baños art academy, Artemisa. In 2012, he graduated from the Higher Institute of Havana, during which time he participated in two Havana Biennials. He has since participated in various solo and group exhibitions both inside and outside Cuba, in countries such as Italy, Spain, and Beirut. This period also includes art fairs such as Art Verona, Art Madrid, and Beirut Art Fair, having received awards from essential artists in Madrid as well as in Lebanon. Also in the Museum of Art of South Korea. His work belongs to the collections of 21c Museum, the Luciano Mendes collection, and Donald G. Wenzel Jr., among other private collections in Europe, Asia, America, and Latin America. Member of the Taylor Foundation of Paris, Massimiliano Galliani Foundation #35 Award in Italy. Winner of the 21c Museum collection art residency in the United States. He participates in several editions of Miami Art Week in collateral exhibitions to Art Basel. He currently exhibits in one of the most prestigious galleries in Amsterdam, Ron Mandos Galerie.
