Linda Berger (b. 1980, Aalen, Germany) is a visual artist based in Vienna, Austria. She studied Fashion at the University of Pforzheim School of Design before pursuing Fine Arts at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, where she worked under Sigbert Schenk and Jan Svenungsson. She later continued her formation through a sculpture seminar with Hans Schabus. Berger’s practice is rooted in an intensive exploration of drawing as a durational, corporeal, and spatial act. Working with quill and ink, she constructs expansive fields composed of countless individual strokes that accumulate into dense, pulsating topographies. Her process unfolds on the floor in a state of heightened physical proximity, allowing the work to emerge through repetition, micro-gesture, and sustained concentration. The resulting surfaces oscillate between cartographic, atmospheric, and psychological registers, evoking landscapes that feel both geological and intimate. Berger’s compositions probe the tension between order and drift, intention and accident, structure and dissolution, offering a visual space where temporality, rhythm, and affect coalesce. Her work has been presented widely in Austria and internationally. Notable solo and duo exhibitions include Elektrohalle Rhomberg in Salzburg, Kunstverein Schwäbisch Gmünd, Bildraum07 in Vienna, Galerie3 in Klagenfurt, Galerie Blaugelbezwettl, Galerie Suppan in Vienna, and Future Fair New York.
