Holly Miller is an American abstract artist known for her tactile, minimalist paintings that merge drawing, painting, and sculpture. Born in Buffalo and raised in Rome, Italy, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Miller lives and works in Brooklyn, NY, where she creates works characterized by threaded lines and humble materials that explore the tension between presence and absence, reality and illusion. Her work has been exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions in the U.S. and abroad. Her works are included in public collections such as the Weatherspoon Art Museum, University of Kentucky Art Museum, and Arkansas Arts Center.
