Mona Hobeiche is a Lebanese painter whose work celebrates the architectural, cultural, and emotional landscape of Lebanon. Through vibrant compositions depicting bustling souks, historic streets, traditional houses, and everyday scenes, she creates a visual archive of collective memory, preserving the character and spirit of places that define the country’s identity. Originally trained in Law at Saint Joseph University, Hobeiche later pursued her artistic vocation through a Postgraduate Diploma in Drawing and Painting at the Lebanese University – Institute of Fine Arts, as well as a Diploma in Iconography at Saint Joseph University. She further expanded her practice with studies in art restoration in both Paris and Lebanon. Over the course of her career, she has presented several solo and group exhibitions in Beirut and across Lebanon, including exhibitions at Hangar de Denise, Le Bristol Hotel, Nicolas Audi in Zaitunay Bay, and more recently the acclaimed “Beirut, Remember Me” exhibition, a tribute to the city’s enduring beauty and resilience. Working primarily in oil and acrylic, Mona Hobeiche combines a rich palette with expressive detail, inviting viewers to rediscover Lebanon through a lens of nostalgia, warmth, and cultural continuity.
