Esterio Segura (b. 1970, Santiago de Cuba, Cuba) graduated from Havana’s Instituto Superior de Arte in 1994 and has since exhibited extensively across the globe, establishing himself as one of Cuba’s most well recognized contemporary artists. His work is featured in major public and private collections, including the Museum of Modern Art, New York; The National Gallery, Washington, DC; and El Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Havana among many others throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
