Paola studied Fine Arts at the Complutense University in Madrid, a Foundation Course in Visual Arts at the Chelsea School of Arts in London, a postgraduate scholarship at the Institute of Photography in Saint Luc, Belgium, and a master's degree in Visual Arts at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Among the awards: Centro De Arte Alcobendas, Photoespaña, Emerging Talent from the El País, and Honorable Mention Fnac. Finalist in numerous competitions such as Purificación García, Pilar Citoler or Enaire Foundation. She is currently receiving a grant from the Nevada County Arts Council (2023) in California, USA. Obtained the Grants for Creation in Visual Arts of the Community of Madrid (2022). Kursala Grant. Residency grant from the Office of Cooperation of the Mexican Government. Production grant from the Ministry of Culture. Grant from the Centro de Arte de Alcobendas Artistic residencies at the Carpe Diem Foundation in Lisbon, Casa Wabi Foundation in Puerto Escondido, Mexico, and the Entrecanales Foundation in Palma de Mallorca. Paola currently lives between Mexico City and Lake Tahoe, California.
