Kimberly is a New Mexico goldsmith and artist whose work explores the narratives embedded in objects and their evolving meanings. She creates wearable art as well as mixed media pieces made from both precious and reclaimed materials. As a self-taught goldsmith, with a background in Southeast Asian art history her work is inspired by the aesthetics of antiquity and the environmental crises of our time. Her practice emphasizes sustainability, focusing on materials that are already in circulation and challenging ideas related to the perception of value in our culture.
