Carlene studied at the University of Colorado as well as 2 years of study at the Cooper Union School of Art. In addition to that, she received a Fulbright Grant to India where she gathered a visually vast mental treasure trove of images and patterns. She is intrigued by the vast range of possibilities and variations available using the printmaking processes of collagraph, polymer etching and chine colle.
