Allison Renee is an oil painter living and working in New Orleans. She has been making art since childhood and grew up taking classes and attending art camps, though she initially pursued a different path. Allison studied Psychology at Spring Hill College and earned a Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of West Florida. After several years working in a clinic setting, art re-entered her life through teaching, where she began leading weekly group art sessions. She now works at two local art galleries and creates her own original work, drawing inspiration from New Orleans’ strong sense of community and vibrant cultural life.
