Originally from Kapuskasing Ontario, Nick's life trajectory was shaped by the forest. He found his artistic voice by transforming trees into inspirational sculptures, creating his first piece in 2008. A trained engineer and outdoor enthusiast, his work brings technical precision to organic form, creating tactile works that pulse with quiet energy. His sculptures reflect a deep reverence for the natural and spiritual elements of our world.The catalyst for Nicks’ artistic expression was a deeply rooted passion to explore the limits of his artistic abilities and create art directly connected to his soul. Entirely self-guided, he is continuously refining his creative techniques through trial and error in his Peterborough studio, acquiring a mastery of hand-held stone shaping tools.Nick is an elected member of the Ontario Society of Artists and the Society of Canadian Artists
