Claire Kinzler was raised in the city of Atlanta, making frequent trips to Jasper, GA, where her family has a home in the North Georgia mountains. It was her time spent here, immersed in nature, that inspired her work as an artist. Claire is currently pursuing her MFA in Painting at the Savannah College of Art and Design. She received her BFA from SCAD in 2023 with a focus in printmaking and a minor in drawing. During her undergraduate degree, Claire worked at the High Museum of Art as a Works on Paper Specialist and completed an artist residency at Art Print Residence in Barcelona, Spain. Claire lives in Decatur, Georgia, while she finishes her MFA.
