Jacques Cazaubon Seronde is an artist living and working on his farm in the Verde Valley of Northern Arizona. He graduated from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston in 2011, with a focus on oil painting and expressive mark-making. His work is deeply inspired by the landscapes and cultural iconography of the Southwest, reflecting a personal connection to the region’s history and environment. His artistic practice is closely intertwined with his daily life, balancing time in the studio with his responsibilities as a farmer and caretaker of the historic Dyck Ranch. In addition to his studio work, he is the co-founder and former Executive Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art Flagstaff, where he helped foster a strong regional arts community.
