Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Giunta has studied at several art institutions including Pratt Institute and the Gerrit Reitveld Academie in Amsterdam. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a fellowship from Yale University. Justin lives and works in New York City.An artist that traverses many media, from painting to fashion and interior and industrial design, Giunta’s aesthetic combines contrasting moments of art history and commercial design into a unique category which is distinctively Subversive.
