I have always had a love for gemstones. When I was a child, I had a small assortment of jewelry and gemstone collection. I often pretended that I was a jewelry merchant at a very young age. Growing up in a family of Artisans helped me develop a love for art at a young age. Having a fashion design background defined part of it. Along the way I found healing through the gemstones, learning about chakra meridians and how they can help support balance. It wasn't until later I discovered my true passion was working with metal to make gemstones in the perfect piece of wearable fashion. Using a precious stone from the earth and making it wearable. Altogether I am now creating my own line of jewelry, each piece is one of a kind handmade. Every item speaks on its own unique rhythm. I like to use mixed metals, including copper, brass and sterling silver. My jewelry line is called EMEPRESSNORTH, mainly available at local Michigan markets, boutiques and galleries.
