My work moves between two tides, painting and making beach glass jewelry. Both begin with fragments - of color, of memory, of place - and evolve into something whole. I am drawn to what is shaped over time, whether it’s a brushstroke layered and reworked on canvas or a piece of glass softened by years in water. My jewelry practice is an extension of this philosophy, I approach my jewelry making as a collaboration with the materials I find. I’m interested in how time alters objects, how art can hold both fragility and strength in its transformation.
