Karen Bakke has been working as a professional artist since 1976. She is recognized for her large murals and commissioned art for cathedrals, hospitals, schools, museums, restaurants, sport facilities, and government buildings as well as private homes. Horses, bison, and dogs are her favored subjects to paint in the studio. As a signature status member of the Montana Watercolor Society and Red River Watercolor Society and founding member of FMVA, Bakke continues to actively pursue her artistic goals.
