Rekha started her printmaking journey in 2021 as a docent at the Printing Museum in Houston Little did she know, that would evolve into a new found curiosity and passion for letterpress as she started teaching Ink & Drink at the museum until it's closing, and continues to do so at Red Bird Press. It's even led her to owning her own Golding Pearl 7x10 model press at home. She enjoys working with both metal and wood type, and is overjoyed at the community she's found and gets to help build to make printing communal and accessible to more in Houston and beyond.
