Anna has maintained a lifelong dedication to the arts since earning her BFA from the University of Georgia. After nearly two decades working professionally as a graphic designer, sales executive, and decorative painter, she shifted her focus fully toward her own creative practice. Her paintings and sculptures have been featured in numerous solo, juried, and group exhibitions. Through vibrant abstraction and layered surfaces, Anna’s work explores movement, emotion, and the complexity of lived experience. Using paint almost as collage, she investigates the many possibilities, relationships, and connections encountered in daily life. Reoccurring symbols serve as visual metaphors to our worldly attachments.Outside the studio, she devotes her time to family and to supporting education, health, and the arts throughout the Hartford community.
