Anick Langelier is a French-Canadian contemporary artist known for her visionary acrylic paintings exploring spirituality, biblical symbolism, mythology, and psychological introspection. Entirely self-taught, she creates emotionally charged compositions inspired by the Bible, literary figures such as Edgar Allan Poe and Arthur Rimbaud, and masters including Rembrandt and Van Gogh. Her richly layered works merge heaven and hell, angels and inner demons, creating immersive narratives filled with symbolism, color, and emotional depth. Langelier’s paintings have been exhibited internationally in Paris, Montreal, the Musée d’Art Contemporain Singulier in Mansonville, and Myriam Nader Haitian Art Gallery in New York. She lives and works in Montreal, Canada.
