Julie Vos is a designer and founder of an eponymous New York-based luxury fashion jewelry brand established in 2006. Known for "wearable luxury," her pieces feature 24K gold-plated patinas and semi-precious stones, and are sold in over 500 boutiques worldwide. Raised in Connecticut, Vos attended New York University for her undergraduate studies and earned a master’s degree in creative writing.Her aesthetic is heavily influenced by the architecture, art, and ironwork of New York City, as well as the structured, compact nature of her first love—poetry. All designs are created in her Manhattan loft studio using traditional lost wax casting. Her jewelry utilizes nickel-free brass heavily plated with warm 24K gold.Her collections are frequently featured in top-tier publications like Vogue, Elle, and Harper's Bazaar, and the brand made its television debut on Good Morning America in 2014.
