Hannah Blount has been creating jewelry since she was a young child. The daughter of a fisherman and a seamstress, Hannah was raised in the tradition of hand skills, hard work, and dedication. In their weathered Nantucket home, she and her six siblings learned how to entertain themselves amidst the chaos that comes with such a large family. The familiar moments of her childhood and the gritty fishing gear set against the clean backdrop of her island home inspired her aesthetic. Hannah's work is a conduit for curious memories that serve as a voice of expression and as a celebration of nature’s beauty. Hannah Blount graduated from Umass Dartmouth in 2008 with a bachelor's degree in Jewelry/Metals. She is currently working out of her studio in Boston, MA
