Annalù Boeretto Annalù was born in San Donà di Piave in 1976. In 1999 she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. She regularly exhibits in solo and group exhibitions around the world (United States, Dubai, China, Hong Kong, Greece, France, Germany, Belgium, Slovenia, Switzerland, Portugal, England, Singapore, Russia, Sweden, South Africa). She presented her work at the Venice Biennale in 2001 and 2011. She has won numerous awards and mentions. In 2009 she was chosen as the Italian representative at the Moya Museum in Vienna, in 2020 one of her sculptures was acquired by the prestigious German VAF Foundation and in 2024 one of her pieces was auctioned at the National Gallery in Singapore. Throughout her career she has dealt with works of all formats up to site-specific installations of monumental dimensions. She is an artist with a germinating imagination where nature is expressed in liquid forms. From the resin used in his sculptures comes a highly poetic work played on the short circuit between the natural data and a sumptuous artificiality, between the apparent fragility and the compactness of the material. What he focuses on is the moment of transition between one state and another through a dynamic balance sharing an attitude very close to alchemical science aimed at the transmutation of one matter into another. Her artistic project goes beyond all the canons of today's proposal, making his research absolutely unique. The oxymoron that underlies his poetics is in her work: a sculpture that imposes itself in three dimensions and that seems absolutely, incontrovertibly liquid.
