Delton Demarest has been working in the freelance industry for 18 years. Recent and past clients include - Lost Dog Street Band, Zillow, Atmosphere of Rhymesayers Entertainment, Red Bull Sound Select, Voodoo Donuts, City of Denver, Nuggs Ice Cream, Sun Valley Youth Center, GB's Fish n Chips, and numerous other local and national clients. He holds a BFA from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design where he graduated with honors Summa Cumme Laude in 2005. He received foundational training from Pratt Institute from 2000-2001. Demarest is an active participant in Plein Air in Denver and beyond, receiving numerous awards for works from 2011-2013 from the Colorado Plein Air festival. Delton has had select showings with Abend Gallery, Helikon Gallery, Center for the Arts Evergreen and many other local galleries. As a muralist, Demarest has worked on numerous large scale exterior murals. A condensed listing of these works include: multiple murals for Sun Valley Youth Center on 12th and Decatur, Gb’s Fish N Chips, Voodoo Donuts,“Railheads Navigate” on the Speer bike path, tribute portraits for artists “Skape, Ikon, and Doher” and “Phoenician Vikings” located in the Rino Art district,“Squirrels” on S.Broadway, “City in Motion” for the Waste Water management building, and the “27 Club” portraits of musicians for Cross Genetics. Through continuous field and observational study, Demarest’s hope is to lend to his illustration and mural skills by enhancing his knowledge and ability to translate both from his imagination and from the natural world
