Born and raised in Arizona, Herb's roots began through figurative illustration. Growing as an artist and wanting to expand his use of color, Herb found incredible energy with acrylic paint as his chosen medium. "I developed a strong interest in abstract storytelling and found both styles balance me.". There is a recurring theme in in Herb's work. Regardless of the mood he has set, there is solitude.
