Ann Currey has long been a student of art and began painting in 2006 taking a watercolor class. She has been fortunate to study with several notable artists over the years. While each artist helped shape her technical abilities and has exposed her to different media, Ann's naturally unique perspective is what keeps her artwork interesting and classic. While studying under different artists has provided guidance, it is Ann's travels in the United States, France and Italy have helped develop her more fully as an artist in search of inspiration. Currently Ann's preferred medium is oil with vibrant colors. As her work evolves she continues to explore different subject matter while maintaining the perspective that invites viewers into her mind's eye. She is an associate member of Woman Painters of the Southeast. A member of American Impressionist Society , an associate member of Oil Painters of America and American Women Artists.
