Anna Davis’ artistic journey started as a 9-year old child. She studied fine arts, graphic design and illustration at the Massachusetts College of Art, graduating in 1974 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts. Anna’s art is powerful and vivid, full of motion and substance, reflective of her dreams, struggles, inner turmoil and passion. She was greatly influenced and moved by the work of American painter Jim Dine as well as the Dutch American leading abstract expressionist Willem De Kooning. Anna’s paintings have been featured in New York, Boston and Florida galleries and can be found in many private collections in addition to online galleries such as Saatchi Art as well as ArtSlant.com. Her work has graced book covers, billboards, posters, magazines and numerous award-winning advertising pages. She currently lives and works in Parkland, Florida where she indulges her constant and irresistible urge to create, primarily focusing on her abstract portraits.
