I am a landscape photographer based in Northern Nevada. My lifelong passions have been animals, outdoors and photography; however, it was not until this last few years that I combined those passions. I joined a local photography group and my hobby became a desire, a calling if you will. I specialize in black and white/ monochrome landscapes and abandoned structures, but continue to explore landscapes in color. Landscape photography is all about finding the simplicity in life for me. I like to create images that brings out a longing to escape back to nature, or to find that feeling of "home." I find that peace in everything from making a water fall move in slow motion, a door begging you to tell the story of what is behind it, is a fence line holding a field back, to a simple bench against an old barn waiting for you to sit and watch the sun set behind the ocean. It's about capturing life.
