Based in Northern Ireland. Born In Dublin but based for most of my life In Newcastle and Belfast I have now settled In Warrenpoint...my artwork is influenced by my surroundings and my history.On my daily journeys I stumble on inspirations for my artwork.... The dimming light of the day giving way to the spark of street lights which highlights different hues and shades.My mark-making is a direct nod to my previous experience as a handloom weaver and textile designer, using my muscle memory of weaving to create warp and weft brushmarks.The overall affect gives my work a textural and woven feel.
