Local artist, Gina Caruso, began designing jewelry over 20 years ago. All of her pieces are one of a kind and can often take weeks to complete. Ethnic best describes Gina's distinctive necklaces, bracelets and earrings. She utilizes ancient amulets, metal beads, and colorful gemstones from Ethiopia, Morocco, Turkey, Tibet and Eastern Europe. Designs include turquoise, coral, amethyst, quartz, amber, lapis, freshwater pearls, silver, brass, copper and many other stones and gems. She also uses turquoise from Arizona, New Mexico and Nevada to accent local beauty. Gina has had several exhibitions at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado, The Museum of Russian Art in Minneapolis and various galleries throughout Arizona (including Anticus in Scottsdale, AZ).
