Growing up I would look at nature trying to copy, and see clearer what was around me. I was drawing all the time. Early on I was asked to paint some large murals for my high school, and participated in many shows. My teachers were pushing me to a career in art. I started at the Colorado Institute of Art , with a degree in Graphic Design. Eventually I went on to study drawing and painting in the Atelier system at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy, The Bougie Studio in Minnesota, and Hurinenko and Paquet Studio. Today I live near Denver with my family. Still studying from books, museums, and other artists. With hope for my next painting.
