Adolf Joaef Maria de Haer was born in Düsseldorf Germany 1892. Died near Osnabruck Germany 1944. He had a variety of painting styles ranging from very structured floral still life paintings, statuesque nudes, loose and colorful landscapes as well as expressionistic and abstract wood block prints. This artist probably spent time in the Boston Massachusetts area in between the wars.
