Cathy Myers is an artist from New Jersey whose watercolor and oil paintings reflect her love of the Lowcountry. She tries to portray the happiness and joy she sees all around her with the vibrant colors and subjects she chooses for her paintings. Cathy feels we only have to open our eyes to see all the beauty that nature has to offer, A creature, as common as a bird, painted with joyful colors can make us stop and appreciate our fantastic surroundings.The Lowcountry has been Cathy’s full-time home for the past eight years, and she continues to discover new and exciting subject matter every day. Cathy is a wife and mother of two grown daughters, and five wonderful grandchildren who bring laughter and joy to her life.
