Born in Anderson, South Carolina in 1994, Barrett moved to Charleston in 2013 to pursue his artistic education at The Art Institute of Charleston. However, his passion for independent exploration led him to leave the institution after a year to fully immerse himself in the art world. Barrett's career took a significant turn when he joined Mary Martin Gallery in 2014.
