Anastasia Dukhanina's art serves as a visual diary of her life. Her paintings reflect the beauty in everyday surroundings, focusing on interiors, still lifes, and the people she encounters. Her works are filled with charming characters and objects, each revealing the subtle details of the world around her. Anastasia’s passion for art emerged early, when her nanny noticed her love for drawing. Encouraged by this, her mother enrolled her in an art school at the age of 7, a pivotal moment Anastasia considers the beginning of her artistic journey.At 15, driven by her desire for a career in art, she left public school to attend the Art College. There, she thrived in a creative atmosphere, surrounded by inspiring teachers and fellow artists.Following her time at the Art College, Anastasia pursued further studies at the Art Academy of St. Petersburg to refine her skills in drawing and painting. Through her artistic exploration, Anastasia discovered that she is most drawn to capturing the modern world around her, finding endless inspiration in the reality of everyday life. Anastasia is married to fellow HFA artist, Antonin Passemard.
