You can usually find Eric hard at work with his headphones on, but he also loves to be social with other artists to get inspiration. He brings his illustrative and cartoon-realist style to life with his mediums of choice—marker and watercolor. Eric relies on the childlike playfulness of art to maintain his creativity. When he’s experiencing “creative block,” he often returns to making portraits to get things moving again. Eric always tries to find something interesting in the mundane and something beautiful in the ugly. He's been drawing ever since he can remember, and goes by the motto, “If you really love it, do it every day.” Eric loves that people connect with his art and hopes they see how he often breaks the “rules.”
