LUIS EADES (1923-2014)Luis Eades was born in 1923 in Madrid. He became interested in art at a young age and began his artistic education at the Hammersmith School of Art in London at the age of fourteen. He continued receiving art classes in various schools in England, studying the techniques of casein, charcoal, oil and watercolor painting. After studying in Mexico City, Eades came to the United States to attend the University of Kentucky. During his time in Texas, he taught art at the University of Texas at Austin. Finding his home in Colorado, Eades became a professor of painting at the University of Colorado at Boulder and remained at his position for thirty eight years.
